Rin's First Friend

<sub>"As the two preadolescence girls frolicked through the empty field, two dark figures began to manifest behind them. Their names were Kristofer and Shinnosuke. At the age of 7, these two and a couple of other celestial beings will appear before the little girl who only wanted to play cross-word puzzles and read Sigmund Freud."

During Rin's childhood, she meets a whole laundry list of characters that are supposedly 'chosen' by God to protect and take care of her. Why? That's for you to decide. After her parents' death, when she was three, a small church took her in. Then when she began to grow up, these two began to appear periodically.

These three you all know who they are but I will explain about them nevertheless:

Kini Orosuwa Lockwood- She is sent into the orphanage due to the death of her mother (Japanese) and her father (English) from a horrific car accident.

She was just a baby at the time.

In the orphanage/school by the church, she is the most popular girl. She is a very shy girl who blushes easily, cries easily and is scared easily. When Rin was first introduced in the orphanage, all the children saw her as a grotesque monkey with a serious skin problem. But not Kini. Unlike all of them, Kini took an instant liking to Rin. Unfortunately, from her constant blushing episodes, it seemed normal. But not this time. Rin was different and Kini really liked her.

Kini is Rin's first real (human) friend.

Kristofer- He is a seraphim. He was picked out of many, by God, to lead the angels protecting and looking after Rin. In his past life, eons ago, he suffered years of being all alone in his house fighting horrible fevers but doing all that he could for the greater good (God). His life was finally over when he died at age 20, of tuberculosis. He picked out his signature clothes to blend in with society, if needed to turn human. And that power was needed when God assigned him the job to take care of this little insignificant child. With a smile, he gladly accepted it.

He is admired among all of the Pearly Gates. He is a naturally kind soul who would never lift a finger at anybody or anything. However, due to decades of lacking humanity, he could never truly experience human emotions. Not until he met Rin.

Shinnosuke- He is a knight from Hell who protects Lucifer himself. Unfortunately, he didn't care about Rin. Not until he met her...

He is very quiet, often stoic, serious and likes to be alone, or with his love. But without admitting it, he considers Rin like a long lost little sister.
